Design and verify analog and RF ASICs for extreme radiation and cryogenic environments. Conduct independent research developing and characterizing superconducting 3D cavity quantum hardware. Design, simulate, build, commission, and measure multimode superconducting systems, implement quantum control and readout, perform data acquisition and analysis, publish results, and collaborate with scientists, engineers, and external partners to advance bosonic qudits and modular quantum architectures.

Design and update multilayer PCBs using Altium, translate OrCAD designs, create schematics/layouts/3D models and BOMs, apply GD&T, research components, mentor drafters, and support procurement and fabrication tasks onsite.

Design, develop, test, and lead medium-to-large power electronics projects including specifications, procurement, manufacturing oversight, installation, and commissioning. Provide technical direction, perform calculations, testing, and documentation while ensuring compliance with DOE and safety regulations.

Lead Fermilab's Contractor Assurance System and serve as Chief Risk Officer to manage enterprise risk, oversight, quality assurance, institutional policies, PEMP and CPARS processes. Provide strategic direction, advise executive leadership, manage staff and budgets, interact with DOE and FFDG members, and drive continuous improvement and risk mitigation across the Laboratory.

Design, develop, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain high-power RF hardware for linacs and synchrotrons. Support daily RF system operations, perform engineering analysis, write reports, and collaborate with technical staff to verify system performance while following safety and site access requirements.

Lead and execute complex mechanical engineering projects including design, specs, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning. Provide technical direction, perform calculations, manage budgets/schedules, supervise teams or subcontractors, ensure code and safety compliance, and represent projects at reviews and conferences.

Provide on-call technical expertise for operation and troubleshooting of accelerator target stations, including radiological disposal, procedure development/review, system readiness, and transfer of subject-matter knowledge. Support timely resolution of operational issues, deliver specialized reports and guidance, and perform duties in compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.

Support development, implementation, and maintenance of project control systems (cost, schedule, EVMS). Build resource-loaded schedules, time-phased budgets, perform earned value analysis, variance and risk assessments, manage change control, prepare reports and presentations, train junior staff, and interface with technical, financial, and management teams on projects.

Lead and manage QA program activities for the LBNF/DUNE construction project, including developing QA procedures, performing document reviews, managing corrective actions, conducting investigations and training, preparing reports for management and DOE, and ensuring compliance with DOE and regulatory requirements. May supervise staff and travel domestically (~15%).

Design and develop low-level RF (LLRF) FPGA-based control systems for synchrotrons. Create specifications, implement real-time high-speed signal processing and control algorithms in FPGAs, perform model-based design and simulation (Simulink/MATLAB), verify and validate systems, and support embedded firmware development while complying with safety and security requirements.

Serve as a strategic HR partner for medium-to-large divisions, delivering talent management, employee relations, compensation and HR program implementation. Provide consultation, investigations, succession and performance management support, liaise with core HR functions, develop communications, and ensure compliance with federal/state employment laws and Lab policies.

Lead architecture, design, implementation, and operation of a secure, resilient low-power high-performance Linux cluster in a remote environment. Provide technical leadership on systems integration, security architecture, monitoring, standards, and policies; analyze security logs; author design documentation; oversee vendor negotiations; and possibly supervise a team. Ensure operational reliability, compliance, and HSPD-12 PIV credentialing.

Design, implement, verify, and integrate FPGA logic and embedded firmware. Perform RTL development, simulation, timing closure, hardware-firmware integration, and documentation. Lead medium-to-large FPGA projects, coordinate technicians/engineers during integration/testing, support procurement/manufacturing, and participate in technical reviews and safety compliance.

Conduct onsite experimental AMO/quantum-sensing research: operate and troubleshoot cold-atom/laser/optics experiments, design measurements, analyze data and simulations, communicate results, follow safety and screening requirements. PhD required or imminent.
