Owns and oversees project controls processes, systems, procedures, cost and schedule management, earned value reporting, risk integration, baseline changes, and performance analysis across laboratory projects. The role manages resource-loaded schedules, EAC and ETC updates, subcontract schedule requirements, audits, and senior-management reporting. It also administers project controls software, trains personnel, assigns resources, and supervises staff, including hiring and performance actions.

Procurement Specialist IV manages complex construction, architect and engineering, and special-project subcontracts. Responsibilities include developing requirements, soliciting and evaluating proposals, conducting price and cost analysis, negotiating terms, awarding contracts, administering subcontract files, ensuring federal regulatory compliance, supporting audits, and reporting procurement metrics. The role requires extensive federal and DOE contracting experience, knowledge of FAR and related labor and procurement regulations, and the ability to manage high-dollar procurements in a matrixed environment.

Leads Fermilab’s operational strategy and execution across facilities, engineering, campus readiness, HR, finance, procurement, information systems, and strategic partnerships. Advises the Laboratory Director, oversees budgets and infrastructure planning, drives performance improvement, coordinates with DOE and senior stakeholders, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports major scientific projects and laboratory operations.
