Design and implement electronics, firmware, and software for sensor readout and experimental control systems. Develop FPGA and microcontroller firmware for timing, synchronization, low-latency data acquisition, trigger decisions, error correction, and feedback control. Build hardware interfaces, plan delivery projects, document results, and collaborate with physicists, technicians, and engineers supporting scientific experiments, detectors, and accelerators.

Design and update multilayer PCBs using Altium, translate OrCAD designs, create schematics/layouts/3D models and BOMs, apply GD&T, research components, mentor drafters, and support procurement and fabrication tasks onsite.

Plans, designs, deploys, configures, and maintains network systems supporting data, voice, and video communications. Monitors performance, security, capacity, and network architecture; troubleshoots complex issues; evaluates upgrades; and develops technical proposals and progress reports. The role provides user consultation and guidance to network personnel, leads moderate-scope projects, supports vendor negotiations and purchases, and oversees assigned operational and maintenance activities.
