Develop Tableau dashboards and reports, write SQL queries and database views, analyze food insecurity and partner data, conduct exploratory research, identify trends, and translate findings into actionable insights. The intern will collaborate with internal stakeholders, troubleshoot reporting issues, optimize query performance, and support data-driven decision-making while developing skills in Tableau, SQL, reporting, and visualization.

Supports U.S. Hunger’s Full Cart® program by assisting volunteer and community outreach, relationship-building with community organizations, engagement campaigns, social content, surveys, and digital communications. The intern tracks engagement metrics, gathers partner feedback, contributes to strategy, and helps strengthen connections among volunteers, families, supporters, and meal distribution partners.

Supports graphic design and print production for digital and physical materials, including social media graphics, presentations, brochures, signage, packaging, banners, and event materials. Assists with layouts, typography, photo editing, print-ready file preparation, quality checks, creative asset organization, and inventory management. Collaborates with the Creative Lead and cross-functional teams while maintaining brand consistency. The role may also support UI/UX mockups and requires occasional local event travel and lifting materials up to 25 pounds.

The intern will build proof-of-concept solutions using C#, Python, .NET, AWS services, and machine learning technologies while evaluating vendors and emerging tools.

Backend Software Engineering Intern supporting development and maintenance of server-side systems using C# and Python. Responsibilities include database management with SQL or MySQL, API integration, AI backend implementation, cloud exposure through AWS and Azure, virtual machine upkeep, troubleshooting, log monitoring, and performance optimization. The intern will learn backend technologies, cloud computing, and AI integration while collaborating with and shadowing experienced engineers.

Supports intern recruiting and selection by managing the applicant tracking system, screening resumes, communicating with candidates, conducting initial interviews, coordinating university outreach and career-fair events, tracking recruitment metrics, and assisting with intern development activities, surveys, and newsletters.

Assists the Salesforce Administrator with user setup, permissions, platform configuration, support tickets, data imports and exports, reports, dashboards, integrations, troubleshooting, testing, and user documentation. The intern will develop practical Salesforce administration and data management skills while supporting users and collaborating with team members.

Supports WordPress website development, including theme and plugin customization with PHP and JavaScript. Assists with responsive design, web forms, content updates, API integrations, MySQL databases, troubleshooting, and site performance. Participates in code reviews, workshops, and collaborative development while building skills in front-end and backend web technologies.
