Leads and grows FAS’s clean energy policy portfolio, serving as a subject-matter expert and public voice. Develops bipartisan legislation, government-capacity initiatives, and innovative energy policy approaches; builds coalitions; manages projects, budgets, grants, staff, and contractors; and drives fundraising and portfolio strategy across policy teams.

Lead an embedded, five-year strategic planning engagement for the Federation of American Scientists. The consultant will conduct external scans and internal diagnostics, analyze financial sustainability and workforce capacity, facilitate stakeholder input, develop strategic options and scenarios, identify investments and activities to sunset, and co-author a distinct FY28+ strategic plan through Board approval in June 2027.

Leads the design, coordination, and execution of in-person, hybrid, and virtual events for FAS. Manages event logistics, venues, vendors, contracts, budgets, stakeholders, executives, and cross-functional teams. Aligns programming with communications and policy-impact goals, develops event strategies, resolves issues, and establishes consistent organizational processes for high-quality event delivery.

Manage semi-monthly payroll and benefits administration, serve as primary employee contact, reconcile payroll and benefits accounts, ensure legal compliance, partner with Finance and vendors, support HRIS data integrity, and assist with onboarding, offboarding, audits, and process improvements to enhance employee experience.
