Summer underwriting internship in FCCI’s Carmel, Indiana regional office. The rotational program provides exposure to multiple departments, networking, mentoring, community service, and hands-on support of underwriting professionals. Interns will develop insurance business knowledge, assist with daily assignments, and build professional skills while completing continued insurance education and pursuing professional designations.

Handles billing inquiries and transactions for property and casualty insurance policies. Reviews account activity, allocates payments, processes disbursements, resolves discrepancies, evaluates cancellations and reinstatements, and supports payment arrangements. The coordinator collaborates with policyholder billing, agencies, underwriting, claims, and other departments while providing customer service and ensuring accurate, compliant billing operations.

Manages statistical and regulatory reporting for commercial property and casualty insurance. Ensures accurate, timely bureau and state filings; establishes data-quality controls; interprets regulatory requirements; coordinates with IT, claims, underwriting, product management, and other departments; and oversees reporting systems and procedures. Leads, mentors, and supervises staff while managing bureau relationships, audits, data calls, assessments, and responses to regulatory inquiries.
