Oversees onboarding, technical, leadership, compliance, and professional development programs; advances learning technology and AI-enabled tools; manages the L&D team, vendors, budgets, and resources; and evaluates learning effectiveness through data and performance measures.

Manages profitable growth for a Texas excess and surplus casualty territory. Responsibilities include underwriting complex accounts, servicing major agency relationships, supporting production and sales, mentoring teammates, delivering training, developing underwriting guidelines and products, and pursuing cross-sell and joint marketing opportunities. The role is field-based and requires travel throughout the territory.

Supervise an Excess and Surplus underwriting team, manage a complex book of business, and achieve production, profitability, retention, and service goals. Evaluate and price increasingly complex risks, negotiate business within guidelines, monitor market conditions and competitor offerings, and apply portfolio pricing techniques. Build agency and key account relationships while providing underwriting leadership, sound judgment, and effective problem-solving.
