Teams at Farmworkers Institute of Education and Leadership Development

On-call substitute aide supporting Early Childhood Education classrooms: assist teachers with lesson preparation, supervise and nurture children, maintain classroom environment, complete basic records, follow licensing standards, support volunteers, attend trainings, and may work at multiple preschool sites.

Perform outdoor environmental restoration and trail/fence building, invasive species removal, tree planting, water conservation, fire fuel reduction and other physical conservation tasks. Requires enrollment in an educational program, willingness to camp on multi-day spikes, pass health and drug screenings, and operate or learn tools/equipment like chainsaws and forklifts.
