The Director leads technical accounting and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with regulations, managing audits, and supporting strategic initiatives.

Lead the Risk product vision and roadmap, build and scale 0-to-1 risk infrastructure, write specs/PRDs, translate complex TradFi risk concepts into technical requirements, collaborate with engineering and risk teams, use SQL to build dashboards and monitor portfolio Greeks, and integrate new asset classes, DeFi, and complex OTC derivatives into the risk framework.

Architect and build scalable, robust risk management systems for institutional crypto trading. Develop, maintain, and enhance proprietary risk tools, infrastructure, data, and processes. Collaborate with risk, product, and engineering teams, ensure performance and reliability, and coach teammates on supporting the risk stack.

Lead global controllership to ensure timely, high-quality month-end close and consolidated financial reporting. Manage complex external audits, design internal controls, own the general ledger and US GAAP compliance, optimize systems and automation (NetSuite, Floqast, ZIP, Workiva, AI), and build/mentor a distributed US and India accounting team while coordinating with FP&A, Tax, and Operations.

Lead and build the enterprise risk management framework for Malta operations, identify and quantify risks (AML/CFT, ICT, operational, market, credit, legal), manage credit and counterparty exposures, implement measurement methodologies, ensure regulatory compliance, coordinate incident response, report to board and senior management, and support product and control enhancements.

Lead technical accounting and financial reporting for a CFTC-registered swap dealer, managing teams and offshore resources, reconciling high-volume custodial and on-chain data, ensuring U.S. GAAP and SEC compliance, driving ASC 606/805 research, coordinating capital and regulatory filings, and preparing SEC registration disclosures while optimizing NetSuite integrations and reporting processes.

As Counsel for Corporate and Fintech Products, provide legal guidance on contracts, governance, IP, and regulatory compliance in crypto. Collaborate cross-functionally and manage disputes.

Design and maintain ultra-low-latency AWS and hybrid network topologies for trading systems. Perform Linux kernel and network performance tuning, automate infrastructure with Terraform and Ansible, and scale platforms for market-making workflows. Build observability pipelines with Grafana/Alloy, lead incident escalations, mentor engineers, and drive the technical roadmap.

Provide legal guidance on digital assets, advise on transactions, draft and negotiate agreements, and support cross-functional teams in regulatory compliance.

Independently investigate trade surveillance alerts, detect market manipulation across digital asset markets, perform token due diligence, improve AI-augmented surveillance tooling, support regulatory alignment and audit readiness, and compile metrics and investigation records.

The Custody Operations Associate manages operations for custody services, ensures transaction integrity, supports compliance, and improves workflows in digital asset management.

Execute end-to-end onboarding for complex institutional, corporate, and HNWI clients. Perform KYB/KYC, Enhanced Due Diligence, PEP and sanctions screening, escalate risks, support audits, optimize onboarding workflows, and partner with Sales and Risk to maintain compliance with AML/CFT and privacy regulations.

Manage counterparty settlement requests and act as primary contact for assigned counterparties. Reconcile trades, transfers, and inventory across internal and external systems, coordinate with Trading, Treasury, Accounting, Compliance, and Customer Success, and improve reconciliation and settlement processes for regulatory compliance.

Perform day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting under US GAAP/IndAS/IFRS. Prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, manage legal-entity compliance, intercompany settlements, and transfer pricing. Support trade operations with reconciliations, resolve technical accounting issues (revenue recognition, consolidation, stock options, MTM), implement controls and policies, coordinate audits, and work with ERP systems to ensure accurate, timely financial information.
