Lead complex enterprise sales across named manufacturing accounts, from opportunity creation through global expansion. Build executive relationships, develop operational and financial business cases, navigate multistakeholder buying processes, manage pilots, negotiate commercial terms, and close high-value deals. Convert initial deployments into multi-site rollouts while improving account strategy, qualification, forecasting, and enterprise sales practices across the organization.

Own product direction, roadmap, prioritization, discovery, delivery, launches, and performance outcomes across manufacturing technology products. Collaborate with firmware, cloud, UX, engineering, operators, and business stakeholders to translate customer needs into shipped products. Focus areas include production insights, scalable platforms and integrations, or hardware, firmware, and IoT data capture. Use customer research, analytics, and continuous iteration to improve factory-floor outcomes.

Own Factbird’s company-wide technical vision, multi-year technology strategy, architecture, platform standards, data architecture, security, reliability, and AI-assisted development strategy. Lead major architecture decisions, build-versus-buy evaluations, integration and API design, and cost-efficiency initiatives. Mentor senior engineers and Tech Leads, advise engineering leadership, communicate technical trade-offs to stakeholders, and guide the evolution of the technical organization without direct reports.

Lead Factbird’s company-wide technical vision, architecture, tooling, standards, and multi-year technology strategy. Make high-stakes architecture and build-versus-buy decisions, lead RFCs, define observability, reliability, security, and AI-assisted development practices, and guide platform standards. Partner with engineering and product leadership, mentor senior engineers and Tech Leads, communicate technical trade-offs to stakeholders, and identify technical risks as the company scales.

Owns Factbird’s internal AI tooling, licensing, adoption, documentation, training, and responsible-use guidelines. The role identifies automation opportunities, evaluates new AI tools, measures organizational impact, supports advanced multi-agent and integration use cases, and champions company-wide AI productivity. It requires strong AI tool understanding, independent ownership, cross-functional project leadership, and the ability to train nontechnical colleagues.

Own Tier 2 customer support escalations across hardware, firmware, networking, and cloud systems. Reproduce and isolate issues, analyze logs, API calls, and network traces, document validated bugs, and coordinate with engineering. Maintain knowledge-base content, coach Tier 1 support, communicate proactively with customers, verify fixes, support release readiness, and identify recurring product or process improvements.

Lead security posture assessments, run technical audits and penetration tests, design and implement security controls across cloud and application stacks, drive SOC2/GDPR operationalisation, mentor engineers on secure coding, and represent security in cross-functional and customer-facing discussions.

Build and ship end-to-end features across React frontends and Node.js/TypeScript or Rust backends, operate in a Nix-backed development ecosystem, and maintain services on a multi-account AWS environment. Write infrastructure as code (AWS CDK), design systems and data pipelines, participate in code reviews and sprint planning, mentor engineers, and help set technical standards and architecture.

Own and ship end-to-end features across a Nix-backed full stack: React front end, TypeScript/Node.js and Rust back end, and multi-account AWS infrastructure. Build data pipelines, write IaC (AWS CDK), test and monitor production systems, participate in code reviews and sprint planning, and mentor engineers while contributing to architecture and technical standards.

Own and ship full-stack features end-to-end: build React frontends and Rust/TypeScript Node.js backends, operate a Nix-backed dev environment, write AWS infrastructure as code (CDK) across multi-account AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, EKS), design systems and data pipelines, mentor engineers, and contribute to architecture and team processes.

Build and own full-stack features end-to-end in a Nix-backed environment using React, TypeScript/Node.js, and Rust. Design data pipelines, APIs, and cloud infrastructure on a multi-account AWS setup, write IaC (AWS CDK), participate in planning and code reviews, mentor engineers, and drive architecture decisions.
