Coordinates domestic, cross-border, and international shipments from suppliers to customers. Requires Spanish fluency, logistics experience, strong organization, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Leads global strategic sourcing and procurement for seafood products, including supplier development, contract negotiation, cost management, market analysis, and supply-risk mitigation. Builds diversified supplier relationships, coordinates with cross-functional stakeholders, supports inventory and customer requirements, and provides procurement recommendations to senior leadership. Manages, coaches, and develops the procurement team while ensuring competitive pricing, quality, service levels, and business continuity across international markets.

Perform full-cycle accounts payable tasks including invoice review, PO matching, payment processing (cheques, EFT, wires), vendor reconciliations, and AP/GL reconciliations. Support month-end/year-end closes, audits, and resolve vendor inquiries while collaborating with Purchasing and Receiving. Maintain accurate AP records and follow established procedures to ensure timely payments and strong vendor relationships during a maternity-leave contract.

Drive growth of fresh seafood sales in ethnic retail supermarkets by building buyer relationships, securing listings and promotions, analyzing sales data, coordinating with procurement, QA, logistics and finance, supporting product launches and in-store initiatives, and meeting sales and profitability targets across assigned territories.

Lead a global logistics team overseeing temperature-controlled ocean freight, intermodal, cold chain warehousing, inventory and container drayage. Drive strategy, negotiations with steamship lines and 3PLs, manage claims, develop budgets and KPIs, and implement continuous improvement across logistics operations.

Support month-end/quarter/annual close, prepare financial statements under ASPE, perform detailed balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations, post journal entries, assist with audits and tax filings, support cash flow analysis and forecasting, and partner with the Controller to maintain accounting controls and improve processes.

Manage semi-monthly and bi-weekly payroll for salaried, contractors and hourly staff across Canada; ensure regulatory compliance, remittances, and year-end reporting. Lead group benefits administration and renewals. Respond to employee payroll inquiries within 48 hours, maintain payroll records, reconcile accounts, support audits, and drive HR/payroll system improvements and automation projects.

Provide administrative support to the Procurement team by creating purchase orders, tracking shipments and shipping documents, ensuring data integrity, processing payments, coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders, and maintaining accurate records.
