Cultivates customer relationships, secures convention and event business, negotiates space, rates, and contracts, and drives revenue for the convention center. Develops strategic sales plans, evaluates operational and financial feasibility, manages forecasts and client records in Momentus, coordinates vendors and internal departments, conducts facility tours, and supports seamless transitions from booking through event execution. Represents the center at industry events and leads sales activities across national accounts, conventions, sports, and specialty events.

Supports convention sales through lead qualification, CRM data maintenance, customer communication, contract and payment tracking, COI management, reporting, proposal preparation, site visit coordination, and sales-to-event-operations handoffs. Maintains accurate booking documentation, assists with process improvements and automation testing, coordinates internal and external stakeholders, and provides administrative support to sales managers and related departments.

Performs revenue, pricing, economic impact, competitive venue, KPI, forecasting, and statistical analyses supporting Events DC sales and business growth. Develops reports, recommendations, ROI and cost-benefit analyses, metrics, presentations, and requirements documentation. Partners with sales, convention management, corporate partnerships, sports, and entertainment leadership to optimize venue bookings, financial performance, and event business strategies across Washington, DC-area properties.
