Staff Software Engineer responsible for owning major platform areas end to end, including service design, data modeling, APIs, deployment, observability, and production operations. The role sets technical direction, partners with product and design, models government-domain workflows, mentors engineers, and supports reliability, security, compliance, and audit needs. Experience with distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, asynchronous workflows, and optionally LLM agents, workflow orchestration, Kubernetes, and government compliance is valued.

Lead and scale Esper’s Customer Success function, owning customer adoption, health, renewals, retention, expansion, support coverage, and customer advocacy. Build scalable CS processes, playbooks, operating rhythms, and reporting while partnering with Sales, Professional Services, Product, Engineering, and executives. Serve as a trusted advisor to government customers, improve time-to-value, manage risks, and drive predictable renewal outcomes.

The Strategic Account Executive will manage the sales cycle, source government opportunities, conduct client meetings, and maintain pipeline accuracy while representing Esper at industry events.

Drive top-of-funnel pipeline by prospecting, making high-volume outreach (60+ calls/day), scheduling demos for AEs, qualifying opportunities, executing outreach sequences, and meeting monthly demo and qualification quotas while partnering with sales and marketing.
