Manufactures low- and high-voltage transformer coils using manual and computer-controlled winding machines. Reads work orders, prepares insulation materials, measures and installs wire or copper/aluminum sheets, programs winding equipment, performs required welding, winds coils, removes them with a hoist, verifies conformance, and completes quality-control documentation.

Leads continuous improvement and manufacturing transformation initiatives using data-driven problem solving. Evaluates safety, quality, delivery, inventory, productivity, and costs; identifies improvement opportunities; and collaborates with operations, engineering, quality, supply chain, IT, sales, and finance teams. Responsibilities include project definition, data analysis, value-stream mapping, workflow and information-flow design, financial analysis, solution implementation, and communicating project progress to stakeholders.

Installs, commissions, maintains, troubleshoots, repairs, and modifies production and building equipment and systems. Reads electrical plans and technical manuals, diagnoses breakdowns, performs preventive maintenance, maintains service records, orders required materials, and supports continuous improvement and equipment reliability. Uses welding, machining, lifting, measurement, control, and computer tools while following safety standards and working independently or collaboratively on an evening shift.

Leads the mechanical design, development, optimization, and production integration of transformers and components. Provides technical leadership on complex projects, performs advanced engineering and failure analyses, ensures compliance with IEEE, IEC, CSA, and DOE requirements, mentors junior engineers, maintains engineering documentation, collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, and drives continuous improvement and innovation.
