Supervise and plan open-pit drilling and blasting operations, coordinate with mine planning and geology, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, optimize blast performance, maintain records, and minimize environmental impacts.

Lead and coordinate drilling and blasting operations for open-pit mining, supervise crews, monitor performance and KPIs, ensure safety, environmental compliance, and equipment availability, and prepare operational reports while supporting continuous improvement and training.

Manage and maintain training records, monitor competencies, conduct training and compliance audits, support onboarding and upskilling, ensure HSE induction delivery, monitor subcontractor training, and support EPSA Pacific training plans and RTO compliance.

Supervise daily earthmoving and open-pit mining operations, allocate fleet and crew, monitor KPIs and production targets, enforce safety and environmental compliance, coordinate with dispatch and maintenance, lead shift briefings, and mentor operators to ensure safe, efficient shift execution.

Lead and coordinate technical and engineering activities for mining and earthmoving projects. Supervise engineering and maintenance teams, design drilling/blasting and haul road layouts, support project scheduling, cost control and procurement, ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement across operations.

Provide on-site HR support across the employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, offboarding, compliance, and payroll enquiries. Assist HR Superintendent with process documentation, tools, and policy development. Handle administrative HR duties and ad-hoc tasks as directed, ensuring accurate, timely service and stakeholder support.

Manage and control parts issuance, receive and dispatch goods, maintain accurate stores documentation and registers, handle hazardous goods records, conduct inventory audits and cycle counts, prepare service kits, escort delivery vehicles, perform loading/unloading per SWPs, liaise with suppliers and planning staff, and lead continuous improvement in stores operations.

Provide on-site HSE support for a mining/earthmoving project: implement HSE management plans, conduct risk assessments and site inspections, deliver training, assist incident investigations, maintain records, and support emergency response and operational safety controls.

Perform breakdown repairs, planned maintenance and servicing of mining fleet per manufacturer/EPSA standards. Work with workshop crews to meet maintenance plans and priorities, control repair costs, and demonstrate safety leadership.

Lead and manage all earthmoving and mining operations to meet daily production targets safely and within budget. Optimize equipment use and fleet allocation, coordinate maintenance and mine planning, enforce HSE and environmental compliance, conduct inspections and incident investigations, and develop supervisors and crews. Oversee recruitment, rosters, training, and operational meetings to drive productivity and continuous improvement.
