Prepare engineering exhibits, plan sheets, and technical documentation for gas and electric utility infrastructure projects and Caltrans encroachment permits. Interpret design standards, develop design deviation justifications and policy exception packages, produce CAD drawings, coordinate with engineers, surveyors, clients, and agencies, and revise documents based on review comments. Maintain organized project files while supporting permitting activities, resolving design issues, and meeting multiple project deadlines.

Lead consulting projects that design, implement, and improve safety management systems for pipeline, utility, occupational health, and process safety clients. Conduct gap assessments, audits, hazard analyses, and incident investigations; guide consulting teams; ensure code and standards compliance; mentor staff; manage quality control and change initiatives; and support business development and client relationships. The role is remote with occasional travel for fieldwork, site visits, meetings, or training.

Design and support natural gas transmission, compression, storage, and processing facilities. Responsibilities include equipment specifications, hydraulic analyses, PFDs and P&IDs, compressor and pump evaluations, pressure vessel and piping design, proposal estimating, quality control, technical analyses, project coordination, and construction support. The role collaborates with multidisciplinary teams and clients, ensures compliance with industry codes, and may require occasional field travel.
