Develops and optimizes production schedules aligned with demand, inventory, capacity, and customer delivery goals. Reviews MRP signals, manages work orders, resolves material and capacity constraints, maintains planning master data, and leads capacity meetings. Partners with manufacturing, procurement, quality, engineering, and supply chain teams to support engineering changes, production readiness, variance analysis, and process improvements. Requires advanced SAP planning experience, strong analytical and cross-functional influencing skills, and substantial manufacturing planning experience.

Coordinates production planning activities in a manufacturing facility, including material availability, work-order release and closure, replenishment, shortages, inventory levels, configuration updates, and variance analysis. Partners with procurement, warehouse, logistics, and senior planners to maintain production continuity and planning accuracy. Requires analytical, organizational, communication, Excel, and ERP/MRP skills, plus the ability to work throughout the facility.

Supports financial decision-making for manufacturing plants through cost accounting, forecasting, budgeting, standard costing, variance analysis, month-end close, inventory valuation, and productivity project review. Partners with plant and operational leadership, explains financial results, ensures GAAP-compliant reporting, and provides financial guidance to non-finance employees. Requires travel to other company sites and strong SAP, Excel, and financial modeling skills.
