Manage multidisciplinary ASIC development programs from specification through tapeout or production release. Responsibilities include project planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, task and issue tracking, customer and stakeholder communication, financial monitoring, quality-system compliance, review meetings, and deliverable release. The role requires technical familiarity with ASIC, FPGA, RTL, verification, system design, or software development, plus leadership across geographically distributed engineering teams.

Performs hands-on bench testing, characterization, validation, and evaluation of analogue, mixed-signal, and SoC ASIC products. Develops automated test hardware, software, and tools; analyzes test data; prepares compliance reports; and supports silicon handover to mass production. The role also involves customer-facing application support, technical documentation, laboratory collaboration, and cross-functional work with design, product, production, project, and account teams.

Own RTL-to-GDSII physical implementation for complex ASIC block-level designs, maintain and improve EDA tool flows, collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure timing closure, power-management, DRC/LVS/ERC/DFM signoff, and stay current with advanced ASIC implementation methodologies.

Lead and deliver multi-disciplinary ASIC development programmes from specification through tapeout/production. Plan, scope, allocate resources, manage schedule, risks, budgets and stakeholder communication. Track tasks, finances and quality, chair reviews, ensure ISO9001:2015 QMS alignment, and release customer deliverables while motivating cross-functional engineering teams.

Lead verification engineer responsible for defining verification strategy, architecting and developing test environments, driving advanced techniques (constrained random, coverage-driven, assertions, formal), monitoring metrics, mentoring teams, and managing customer relationships to deliver verification projects.

Work onsite at OSAT in Penang to launch semiconductor products into mass production, analyze production/test data, troubleshoot and resolve yield issues, qualify test hardware/software and testers, manage test inventory and supplier relationships, and support production ramp-up and test maintenance.
