Design, integrate, assemble, debug, and test electromechanical systems for dexterous robots, including actuators, joints, end-effectors, sensors, PCBs, and cable harnesses. Develop automated test setups for performance, durability, and reliability, and collaborate with controls and AI engineers to move robotic systems from prototype to production.

Develop large-scale pretraining methods for force-aware robotic foundation models. Design architectures, objectives, curricula, datamixes, and evaluation sets; run experiments from data specification through real-robot testing; investigate scaling laws, sample efficiency, robustness, and sim-to-real generalization. The role involves building predictive or generative models with PyTorch or JAX and optimizing distributed, multi-GPU training systems for dexterous robotic manipulation.

Develop and industrialize robotic actuator motors from prototype through manufacturing. Design test rigs, characterize motor performance, conduct quality and reliability testing, perform root-cause analysis, improve production processes, collect and report data, and define acceptance criteria and KPIs. The role requires hands-on CAD and test hardware development, calibration expertise, and collaboration across robotics, design, and production teams.
