Plan and control pathology specimen collections and deliveries, allocating courier resources and monitoring vehicle movements to meet KPIs and contractual timeframes. Coordinate operational teams, hospitals, GP practices, subcontractors, and service providers. Prioritize urgent journeys, respond to disruptions, maintain accurate system records, and implement contingency plans while supporting safe, efficient, cost-effective logistics and high-quality patient service.

Leads day-to-day frontline patient transport operations in Surrey, ensuring service performance, clinical quality, governance, safety, and contractual KPI compliance. Manages teams, employee relations, stakeholder relationships, budgets, revenue opportunities, and continuous operational improvement. Works with healthcare partners and senior service leaders to maintain high-quality, compliant transport delivery while improving performance and achieving organizational targets.

Lead day-to-day operational delivery across Reading, Slough, and Farnborough patient transport bases. Manage service performance, clinical quality, governance, KPIs, budgets, revenue, stakeholder relationships, and employee welfare and development. Ensure compliance with clinical, vehicle, health and safety, and contractual standards while improving operational performance and service delivery. The role includes occasional on-call and weekend responsibilities.

Develops and manages business intelligence reporting suites using SQL Server, Power BI, PowerApps, and Power Query. Analyzes time and attendance, operational, financial, people, and transactional data; performs trend analysis and forecasting; maintains data quality; and supports decision-making through dashboards, data models, and concise reporting. Collaborates with stakeholders across IT, Finance, Operations, HR, Compliance, and other functions to deliver accurate analytical solutions and continuous improvement.

Leads EMED Group’s learning and organisational development strategy, leadership programmes, succession planning, apprenticeships and talent development. Oversees internal communications, colleague engagement, social value initiatives, charitable and community partnerships, and patient-focused learning content. Works with senior leaders and operational teams to align capability, culture, communications and social impact with patient care, business priorities and sustainable growth.

Plan and control high-volume patient transport operations, scheduling journeys, allocating suitable vehicles and crew, dispatching resources, and dynamically resolving delays, cancellations, vehicle issues, and capacity constraints. Maintain accurate booking and patient records, monitor KPI performance, handle transport requests, complete clerical duties, and liaise with hospitals, healthcare providers, subcontractors, and operational teams to ensure safe, timely patient journeys.
