Develops and configures Vignette web content management applications. Responsibilities include analyzing, designing, developing, testing, and supporting mainframe and application projects. Develop and design Hadoop-based applications using MapReduce, Hive, Pig, Sqoop, HBase, Kafka, Storm, and Java. Optimize Hive queries, build HBase applications, implement memory caching with Apache Ignite or GridGain, and create Linux shell scripts.

Develop and maintain Java and J2EE applications using Spring and Hibernate. Work with Hazelcast, session management, PL/SQL, and basic front-end technologies including HTML and JavaScript. Vert.x knowledge is advantageous. The position is available across multiple client locations.

Develop and maintain iOS applications using Swift, Objective-C, Cocoa Touch, and RxSwift or ReactiveCocoa. Design responsive interfaces, integrate REST APIs and frameworks, implement location and augmented reality features, and apply multithreading, debugging, testing, and dependency management practices. Collaborate with source control and continuous integration tools while following established architecture and design patterns.

Develop Apache Spark integrations, frameworks, and data-streaming applications using Java. Design Apache-based applications, implement REST services with Spring and Spring Boot, and support CI/CD automation using Git, Jenkins, Chef, and Artifactory. Work with application servers, build tools, SQL and NoSQL databases, and Agile development methodologies. Identify improvement opportunities and recommend technical solutions.

Provides on-site network administration and IT support for customer environments across the San Francisco Bay Area. Responsibilities include maintaining Windows networks, routers, firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi, VPNs, endpoint protection, virtual machine infrastructure, and client computers. The role troubleshoots hardware and software issues, coordinates with vendors, prepares preventative measures, documents field service activity, and communicates with customers and managers. English and Japanese bilingual proficiency and travel to customer sites are required.

Develop Android applications using Java and Kotlin, Android frameworks, APIs, networking libraries, databases, Firebase, and Gradle. Build features involving camera, barcode scanning, NFC, maps, location services, augmented reality, OpenGL, social integrations, and custom views. Apply object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, multithreading, client-server architecture, and source control while ensuring analytical accuracy and attention to detail.

Develop and support software solutions using Apache Spark and Hadoop. Apply strong Java and J2EE knowledge to build and maintain enterprise applications. The role requires at least one year of Apache Spark experience and eight years of IT experience. Retail domain experience is advantageous.
