Drive optical systems development for scientific multiomic discovery platforms from concept through commercialization. Responsibilities include optical requirements, design, simulation, integration, alignment, testing, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, vendor evaluation, production transfer, and research into imaging technologies. The role collaborates across hardware, firmware, software, supply chain, manufacturing, and field service teams while supporting imaging, illumination, and autofocus systems.

Sell Element Biosciences sequencing capital equipment across the Nordics by developing territory strategies, growing key accounts, forecasting demand, coordinating with cross-functional teams, using SFDC, and providing customer support and presentations. Provide frontline instrumentation and software support for EMEA customers and distribution partners, triage and resolve hardware/software issues, collaborate with field service, R&D and product teams, maintain knowledge bases, and contribute to continuous improvement and pre-sales workflows.

Manage and grow Element's AVITI instrument and consumables sales in Italy via distributor partnerships. Develop distributor relationships, drive revenue forecasts, coordinate sales/marketing campaigns, deliver technical training, resolve complex issues, monitor competitors, and support post-sales activities with up to 50% travel.

Lead product vision, strategy, and roadmap for software and bioinformatics tools supporting multiomic analysis. Align R&D and external users, define PRDs and user stories, prioritize features from VOC and usage data, and represent the company in partner conversations about data access, licensing, and AI-enabled product value. Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver, launch, and iterate products while monitoring usage and adoption.

The Senior Engineer II, Machine Learning will develop and implement machine learning models, analyze multiomic/single-cell data, and apply image processing techniques for research projects.

Provide technical escalation and centralized service support for NGS instrumentation: support NPI readiness, author service documentation and knowledgebase content, perform diagnostic analysis across mechanical/fluidics/optical/electronic/SW-FW subsystems, maintain San Diego HQ instruments, and collaborate with R&D and field teams to improve service processes.

Responsible for ensuring EMC, safety, and RF compliance throughout product development, leading projects, managing stakeholders, and monitoring regulations.
