Build and own full-stack software systems connecting and controlling advanced manufacturing platforms. Responsibilities include developing Python backends and React interfaces, designing architectures integrating industrial equipment and sensors, maintaining containerized services and CI/CD pipelines, and applying testing, documentation, code review, and version-control practices. The engineer will collaborate with manufacturing experts, mentor colleagues, communicate technical decisions, and contribute to presentations, publications, or patents. The role may be remote, hybrid, or based in Buffalo, NY or Columbus, OH.

Leads R&D and client projects involving environmental testing, fracture mechanics, materials degradation, failure analysis, and engineering assessments. Develops proposals, cultivates customer opportunities, oversees technical quality, prepares reports, presents results, and promotes capabilities through publications and conferences. Requires expertise in materials science, corrosion, testing methods, industry standards, and experimental research, with regular customer interaction and approximately 10% travel.

Performs payroll administration, month-end journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, lease amortization, LIMS-to-Dynamics processing, profitability reporting, and BWC compliance support. Additional duties include assigning Dynamics access, setting up projects and allocations, troubleshooting daily allocators, and backing up billing and accounts receivable. Requires strong accounting knowledge, advanced Excel skills, reporting proficiency, attention to detail, and effective communication.

Provides entry-level operational support across HR, including recruiting and onboarding coordination, Paycom data administration, performance and learning management, benefits support, associate relations, compliance audits, and wellness programming. Maintains confidential employee records, assists with routine employee inquiries, coordinates vendors and benefits activities, and escalates complex matters to HR leadership. Requires occasional travel to Buffalo for site support.
