Industrial Engineer responsible for time and motion studies, labor standards, ERP routings, part costing, process flow, plant layout, throughput, and continuous improvement across aluminum casting operations. The role develops standard work, improves OEE and capacity utilization, supports new product introductions, and partners with production, finance, engineering, and quality to improve safety, delivery, quality, and profitability.

Operate melting furnaces, ladle and pour metal into permanent molds, remove and inspect castings, degas alloys, monitor temperatures and gauges, and maintain a clean work area to 6S standards. Participate in on-the-job training and follow safety and quality procedures.

Support launch of new aluminum casting programs and drive continuous process and quality improvements. Develop and maintain process controls, inspection methods, and QMS documentation; analyze quality data (capability studies, gage R&R), investigate defects, implement corrective actions, lead supplier audits, and support manufacturing operations and customer requirements.

Design, program, integrate, commission, and maintain PLC and FANUC robotic systems, HMIs, VFDs, and SCADA/historian platforms to optimize manufacturing automation, troubleshoot downtime, create control documentation, and support continuous improvement projects.

Perform Magmasoft solidification simulations and CAD gating designs for aluminum castings, analyze results, correlate with production issues, develop tooling and process controls, and support continuous improvement.

Prepare and set up aluminum castings for heat treatment, operate heat-treat equipment, perform aging and straightening processes, follow job specifications, maintain quality standards, and work collaboratively on 2nd or 3rd shift with training provided.
