Supports daily museum visitor operations by greeting guests, leading exhibit talks, facilitating dialogue, checking in groups, assisting with ticketing and admissions, monitoring exhibits, supporting events, responding to visitor needs, and escalating operational issues. The associate also helps maintain welcoming, safe public spaces and trains new frontline staff while collaborating across Learning and Engagement, Retail, and other museum teams.

Provides customer service and processes merchandise and admission-ticket transactions using POS and ticketing systems. Maintains a clean, organized, and well-stocked store; handles cash reconciliation, inventory, returns, exchanges, ticketing issues, membership upgrades, and loss-prevention procedures. Supports opening and closing duties, works collaboratively, follows safety protocols, and represents the museum’s mission while working weekends and holidays.

Lead and grow a comprehensive individual giving pipeline including annual, major, and planned gifts. Manage a portfolio of major donor prospects, set targets and KPIs, steward board cultivation, lead fundraising events and galas, maintain CRM donor records, and produce data-driven revenue projections and executive reports to meet fundraising goals for historic preservation, education, and museum operations.
