Leads mechanical design and analysis for lithium-ion battery modules and packs from concept through production. Responsibilities include CAD, structural and thermal FEA, tolerance analysis, prototype builds, validation testing, root-cause investigations, supplier support, engineering changes, and design-for-manufacturing. The role collaborates cross-functionally to improve performance, cost, quality, reliability, safety, and manufacturability while mentoring junior engineers.

Develop and support battery management system software from requirements and architecture through integration, verification, and production release. Build protection, diagnostics, communications, monitoring, balancing, contactor control, and state-estimation functions. Troubleshoot complex software, hardware, electronics, and battery-system issues; define verification methods; perform hands-on testing; collaborate across engineering and manufacturing teams; and provide technical oversight to external engineering partners.

Leads complex lithium-ion battery module and pack development from concept through production. Defines requirements, architecture, interfaces, validation strategies, and technical specifications; leads integration, testing, design reviews, root-cause investigations, engineering changes, supplier resolution, and risk mitigation. Provides technical leadership across mechanical, electrical, thermal, manufacturing, quality, test, and program teams while mentoring junior engineers and driving robust, manufacturable products.
