Lead financial and accounting operations including internal controls, audits, budgeting, cash management, tax and audit coordination, job costing and P&L reporting. Oversee payroll, commissions, benefits administration, employee performance management, vendor insurance and surety relationships, and maintain accounting policies and procedures.

Coordinate and execute accounting and finance onboarding for new clients, including payroll setup, general ledger mapping, reconciliations, first-month full-charge bookkeeping, journal entries, documentation, and handoff to internal accounting teams while improving processes and ensuring SLAs.

Serve as primary tax expert and hands-on preparer/reviewer for assigned clients. Manage multi-entity, multi-state compliance and planning, oversee outsourced preparers, develop internal tax processes, advise on M&A and nonprofit tax issues, deliver tax training, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, timely filings.
