The role requires extensive CNC programming and machining experience, including G-code, CAM software, tooling, feeds, speeds, and multi-axis equipment.

Lead and execute Lean/Six Sigma continuous improvement initiatives across multi-site manufacturing to improve safety, quality, productivity, delivery, and inventory. Develop SOPs and visual management, analyze KPIs, lead cross-functional teams, support capacity expansions, implement process improvements using Lean tools, and travel 25-40% to support domestic and international facilities.

Monitors and responds to incoming company correspondence, routes communications, enters orders and estimates into the ERP system, prepares quotations, manages customer contracts, schedules ship dates, and provides return authorization instructions. The role supports Inside Sales and Customer Service teams while maintaining accurate records, meeting productivity and quality goals, and participating in process improvement initiatives.

Sets up, operates, and maintains CNC external thread grinding equipment to produce high-precision lead screws, ball screws, and threaded components. Reads blueprints, adjusts tools, offsets, and programs, loads materials, monitors machine performance, troubleshoots issues, performs precision inspections, completes quality documentation, and maintains a safe work area. Requires at least two years of CNC machining experience, with external thread grinding experience strongly preferred.

Operate sewing machines to sew PVC into synthetic materials to produce bellows and related components. Read job cards and engineering drawings, perform inspections, troubleshoot, maintain tools, follow safety and Lean procedures, and support production goals.

Develop, edit, and optimize CNC programs for mills, lathes, and multi-axis machines; translate drawings and 3D models into machining instructions; select tooling, speeds and feeds; perform setups, test runs, and inspections; collaborate with machinists, engineers and quality to resolve issues and support continuous improvement.

Support Quality Manager and production by performing audits, inspections, statistical analysis, gage calibration, FAI/PPAP and corrective actions. Maintain controlled documents, generate quality reports, participate in ISO/internal audits, continuous improvement, customer RMAs, and new product launches.
