Supports the Food Safety and Quality team in a meat-processing production environment. Responsibilities include implementing procedures and controls to ensure product safety, legality, quality, and compliance. The role requires strong organization, communication, analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, and the ability to work independently.

Maintains and repairs plant equipment, production machinery, and site facilities. Provides electrical and mechanical support, assists with machinery setups and production issues, completes maintenance documentation, and supports improvements in quality, cost, and safety. The role may involve building maintenance, TIG welding, working at height, employee training, and participation in a one-week-in-four callout rota.

Supports customer and site teams on food safety and quality requirements. Manages retailer relationships, customer visits, audits, post-visit actions, product development coordination, KPIs, packaging artwork, product specifications, and product assessments. Ensures products meet legal, customer, and agreed quality standards while representing the Food Safety and Quality department to key retail customers.
