Provide clerical, equipment, and direct patient care support on the cardiac ICU unit. Perform assigned patient care tasks, assist staff, maintain unit equipment, and complete related administrative duties. Maintain Nurse Aide Certification, BLS, and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training.

Designs, coordinates, and delivers non-clinical onboarding and ongoing education for staff, students, and observers. Manages scheduling, training materials, archival systems, affiliation agreements, and instructor coordination. Teaches non-clinical content, supports new-hire integration, ensures regulatory and safety requirements (HIPAA, NPSG) are included, and measures participant satisfaction and knowledge transfer.

The Registered Nurse provides direct nursing care to patients, planning and delivering effective care within their scope of practice in a service line or department.
