Administer, maintain, and secure county servers and network infrastructure. Deploy and troubleshoot servers, firewalls, virtualization platforms, backups, and network hardware. Perform audits, backups, monitoring, documentation, and 24-hour on-call support. Coordinate with teams and contractors to implement upgrades and ensure regulatory compliance.

Provide administrative support for grant-funded programs including maintaining grant files, verifying data and calculations, generating reimbursement requests and worksheets, tracking reimbursements, corresponding with agencies, responding to routine inquiries, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and procedures.

Administer, configure, monitor, and maintain enterprise security tools and controls (email security, EDR, firewalls, SIEM). Support vulnerability management, incident triage/response, email investigations, documentation, reporting, and security policy implementation. Collaborate with IT staff, vendors, and auditors to protect county systems and data.

Lead and supervise flood control engineering staff; plan, design, and manage flood control projects; review designs and compliance; oversee bidding, procurement, construction, inspections, and right-of-way acquisitions; manage NFIP/CRS activities, floodplain determinations, funding applications, interagency coordination, and department budget and administration.

Perform planning, design, and project management for county comprehensive and community plans. Evaluate land development, manage projects and contracts, conduct public engagement, prepare technical analyses and reports, create maps/visualizations, seek grants, and support implementation of planning initiatives.

Oversee advanced governmental accounting including general ledger, grant accounting, reconciliations, financial reporting, and audit support. Lead and train accounting staff, ensure compliance and internal controls, coordinate grant administration, and support financial system implementations and process improvements.
