The role also facilitates animal encounters, special events, school programs, and interactive science activities for diverse audiences.

Provides daily care for aquarium, rainforest, and other live exhibits, including preparing animal diets, maintaining life-support systems, collecting biological data, and supporting educational programs. Assists with exhibit improvements, aquarium feeding, specimen preparation, volunteer coordination, and live animal shows. The role requires swimming, SCUBA equipment operation, climbing, lifting, and working around water, chemicals, mechanical equipment, and heights.

Facilitates museum programs, presentations, demonstrations, classes, and informal educational activities for visitors of all ages. Provides front-line admissions and retail customer service, processes transactions and memberships, monitors exhibits and safety, handles animals, maintains supplies and exhibit areas, supports special events, and gathers visitor feedback. The role requires adapting educational content to diverse audiences while maintaining a positive, inclusive, and service-oriented museum environment.
