Build and operate a banking platform across Flutter mobile, React web, AWS infrastructure, and GitHub Actions CI/CD. Develop AI-powered features with Claude, establish secure and compliant engineering practices, and manage integrations with banking platforms, payment rails, and fintech APIs. Work directly with partners and clients to deploy, troubleshoot, and improve products in the field. The role is on-site in Charlotte with periodic travel and requires production software experience, financial services knowledge, and strong client-facing communication.

Own end-to-end QA strategy for mobile and web applications as an individual contributor. Build and maintain balanced automated and manual testing, establish smoke and regression suites, integrate quality gates into GitHub CI/CD, manage defects and traceability in Jira, and report quality risks to leadership. The role partners with engineering, product, design, and program management while introducing AI-assisted testing practices in a regulated fintech environment.

Own the organization’s information security and compliance program, including AWS and identity security, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, and NIST CSF readiness. Lead third-party risk reviews, incident response operations, asset inventories, security policies, and launch readiness. Govern AI tools and platforms, develop secure AI delivery pipelines, and establish AI usage guidelines. Partner with engineering and product on integrations, platform architecture, provider roadmaps, and security-conscious technology decisions.

Owns the general ledger, month-end close, account reconciliations, accounts payable, payroll accounting, financial reporting support, and internal controls. The role also supports ERP implementation, documents accounting procedures, researches technical accounting matters, prepares audit workpapers, and assists with tax and regulatory reporting. This on-site position reports to the Controller and helps build the accounting function for a growing financial technology company.
