Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure web applications and APIs; manage cloud infrastructure (strong AWS GovCloud focus), CI/CD, and DevOps; apply machine learning and generative AI to extract insights; perform data engineering and reporting; ensure compliance with HIPAA/FERPA; mentor and grow an engineering team; research and adopt new technologies to support child welfare outcomes.

Perform stakeholder-driven analyses using R and Python on large child-welfare datasets, produce reports and visualizations, recommend policy and program actions, collaborate with partners, maintain reproducible code and documentation, and support research outputs and presentations.

The Research Engineer will develop machine learning methods for forecasting glacier ice flow and assess its impact on sea level rise, utilizing high-performance computing and remote sensing data in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
