As a Software Development Engineer in Test, design scalable automation frameworks using Python and Playwright, validate AI-driven systems, develop testing strategies, and mentor junior engineers.

Lead the design, development, reliability, and maintenance of native integrations with customer-critical SaaS platforms. Build backend services, APIs, webhooks, workers, UI components, and AI-compatible automation workflows. Own technical direction, architecture, delivery, testing, monitoring, debugging, and production support. Collaborate with product, business, customers, and external stakeholders while mentoring engineers and making pragmatic technical tradeoffs.

Consults with clients on operational needs, leads deployments, troubleshoots implementation issues, identifies improvements, performs risk analysis and change management, and guides customers through adoption. The role requires expertise in VoIP, networking, cloud infrastructure, enterprise systems, and CCaaS and UCaaS implementations.

Implement SEO, GEO, and AEO tactics to improve Dialpad’s visibility and citations across search engines and AI platforms. Create, edit, and publish website content using AI tools; support visual updates, GEO and CRO testing, backlinking, outreach, and PR and social initiatives. Conduct keyword and prompt research, competitive analysis, and monitoring of rankings, mentions, and citations while staying current on evolving AI search practices.

Own quality strategy and release readiness for assigned product areas in Dialpad’s AI communications platform. Responsibilities include functional, integration, regression, exploratory, UI, API, and end-to-end testing; maintaining automated test suites; validating enterprise workflows and AI capabilities; investigating failures; reporting defects; performing root-cause analysis; and collaborating with Japanese, APAC, and global stakeholders to improve quality and release confidence.

Own small-business sales from lead conversion through closed-won deals, acquire new customers, meet revenue targets, and serve as the first point of contact. Engage prospects through phone, live chat, and marketing leads, primarily in North America. Understand customer needs, present Dialpad solutions, support account setup, and partner with Billing, Support, Marketing, and Sales teams to ensure a strong customer experience.

No work projects are assigned; participants commit to 2 hours/week and engage in interactive sessions.
