Build and operate production machine learning and LLM systems for healthcare knowledge management and patient-facing products. Responsibilities include extracting and validating structured knowledge from unstructured sources, developing RAG and agentic pipelines, creating evaluation frameworks, and improving system accuracy, latency, reliability, and cost. The role also involves MLOps, model and data versioning, monitoring, retraining, and HIPAA-compliant handling of patient data.

Build and operate production machine learning, LLM, RAG, and agentic systems that convert unstructured healthcare information into verified structured knowledge. Develop extraction, validation, evaluation, monitoring, and orchestration pipelines; improve accuracy, latency, reliability, and cost; and maintain model, prompt, dataset, and knowledge versioning. Collaborate across product, engineering, and data teams while handling patient information under HIPAA requirements.

Own API reference documentation, developer integration guides, release notes, and user/admin documentation across DexCare products. Maintain OpenAPI specifications and docs-as-code workflows in GitHub and Markdown, collaborate closely with engineering and product teams, validate API behavior, and document launches. The role requires strong REST fluency, code and payload comprehension, excellent written English, and experience creating both developer-facing and end-user documentation. Healthcare or healthtech documentation and AI-assisted workflows are advantageous.

Own the roadmap and requirements for DexCare’s platform foundation, including identity, authentication, multi-tenant management, licensing, and API gateway capabilities. Partner with Security, Engineering, Compliance, and Commercial teams to balance healthcare-grade security, privacy, scalability, and usability. Prioritize backlogs, guide build-versus-buy decisions, support enterprise integrations, and help migrate legacy systems to multi-tenant SaaS for health system customers.

Leads DexCare’s company-wide AI/ML strategy, production machine learning systems, and global ML engineering organization. Owns conversational AI, realtime voice, predictive models, retrieval and knowledge systems, safety monitoring, evaluation, deployment, MLOps, model economics, and team growth. Requires hands-on technical leadership, production LLM experience under regulatory constraints, strong Python and ML expertise, cloud experience, healthcare data fluency, and experience building senior engineering teams.
