Lead the architecture and technical direction of high-performance, low-latency electronic trading platforms. Provide hands-on engineering through design reviews, prototyping, coding, and performance investigations. Guide globally distributed teams on Core Java, concurrency, resilience, scalability, and JVM performance. Ensures alignment with security, governance, and technology strategy; guides engineering teams through implementation; creates reusable architecture patterns and decision records; evaluates emerging technologies; and collaborates with architects, data specialists, engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders in a regulated financial-services environment.

Conducts local and global IT audits covering applications, infrastructure, cloud, SaaS, outsourced environments, and information security. Responsibilities include risk assessment, control testing, audit fieldwork, report drafting, findings validation, remediation tracking, stakeholder communication, and escalation. The role partners with global teams and management, requiring strong analytical, communication, organizational, German, English, and occasional travel capabilities.
