The Major Gifts Officer manages a portfolio of approximately 100 donors and prospects, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding gifts of $25,000 or more. Responsibilities include developing donor strategies, securing high-value gifts, preparing proposals and gift agreements, maintaining donor records, coordinating recognition and fulfillment, supporting fundraising leadership, and contributing to long-term development plans.

Manages staff and supports the development, delivery, evaluation, and coordination of year-round art-making programs. Recruits and develops teaching artists and coordinators, facilitates training and workshops, builds community partnerships, and leads inclusive learning experiences for diverse audiences. Ensures studio spaces are welcoming, safe, and accessible while coordinating museum-wide programming and supporting strategic priorities. Requires regular weekend, evening, and holiday work, occasional outdoor work, and local travel.

Provides accounting department support for software implementation, audit preparation, policy and procedure documentation, accounts payable and receivable, collections, reconciliations, reporting, and transaction processing. Requires accuracy, research and analysis skills, confidentiality, proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft 365, and effective remote collaboration.
