Leads alumni engagement and postsecondary persistence programs for more than 3,000 graduates. Manages microgrants, peer outreach, alumni events, partnerships, and organization-wide event operations. Uses alumni data to identify at-risk students, track postsecondary outcomes, produce stakeholder reports, and refine interventions. Coordinates vendors, communications, volunteers, timelines, databases, and operational priorities across central office and school teams.

Leads special education and Multilingual Learner programming across assigned New York schools. Coaches Special Services Managers and school leaders, analyzes academic and compliance data, strengthens IEP and MLL systems, supports instructional quality, conducts audits, develops professional learning, and implements network-wide improvements while ensuring legal compliance and strong scholar outcomes.

Oversee student enrollment, registration, attendance, transportation, health compliance, and student information management. Analyze school data, coordinate truancy prevention, support family communications and school culture, train staff on student information systems, assist with assessments, safeguard sensitive records, and serve as the first point of contact for basic technology issues. The role also supports welcoming new families and maintaining efficient, compliant school operations.

Manage school operations, including daily procedures, compliance, attendance, enrollment, assessments, procurement, inventory, technology, food service, transportation, facilities, events, and family engagement. Lead and coach the operations team, maintain accurate internal and state data systems, prepare reports, coordinate vendors, document protocols, and ensure efficient support for students, families, and staff.

Coordinates school operations, technology support, meal service, supplies, events, enrollment, family communications, assessments, databases, attendance, and school culture initiatives. The role supports staff, scholars, and families while documenting systems, managing logistics and budgets, coordinating vendors, and ensuring welcoming, compliant, and efficient school-based operations. This is a fully in-person position five days per week.

The Canvasser drives student inquiries and applications for Democracy Prep schools through community outreach, tabling, relationship building, canvassing strategy, and enrollment events. The role targets families and community organizations, supports school fairs and open houses, enters inquiries and applications into tracking systems, and completes enrollment and marketing tasks. Strong communication, community connections, admissions knowledge, and strategic planning are important. Spanish proficiency and canvassing or charter school experience are preferred.

Leads school-based special services compliance and delivery for students with disabilities, multilingual learners, and students needing academic or behavioral supports. Manages special education staff and providers, oversees IEPs, 504 plans, MLL services, SESIS documentation, audits, legally mandated meetings, family communication, and MTSS intervention systems. Partners with school and network leadership, may provide SETSS or ICT instruction, and ensures services are implemented accurately, timely, and in compliance with IDEA, NYSED, NYC DOE, and network requirements.

Support more than 3,000 alumni by designing college persistence strategies, managing microgrant and peer-support programs, organizing reunions, and cultivating class captains. Identify alumni at risk of stopping out, provide targeted outreach, track postsecondary outcomes, maintain accurate records, analyze data, and report trends and program insights. Collaborate with counseling and college access teams to refine interventions and improve re-enrollment, persistence, and graduation outcomes.

Leads the DP Empowered program across five high schools, overseeing faculty, curriculum, instructional quality, professional development, experiential learning, budgets, staffing, technology systems, evaluation, and student-data tracking. The role builds scalable systems, coordinates cross-departmental stakeholders, and ensures consistent college and career pathway programming aligned with the organization’s mission.

Teach high school science while creating an inclusive, supportive classroom with high academic and behavioral expectations. Plan and implement rigorous curriculum, use assessment data to guide instruction, build relationships with scholars and families, support social-emotional development, promote civic engagement, and participate in coaching, professional development, conferences, tutoring, and school-wide activities.
