Leads Democracy Prep’s philanthropic growth strategy and development function, owning multi-million-dollar fundraising targets across individual, foundation, corporate, government, and institutional giving. Manages major and principal gifts, donor pipelines, foundation partnerships, corporate engagement, Board giving, campaigns, and donor stewardship. Builds scalable development infrastructure, optimizes donor management systems, tracks performance through dashboards, and partners with the CEO, Board, senior leadership, and Marketing & Communications to advance strategic priorities.

Leads alumni engagement and postsecondary persistence programs for more than 3,000 graduates. Manages microgrants, peer outreach, alumni events, partnerships, and organization-wide event operations. Uses alumni data to identify at-risk students, track postsecondary outcomes, produce stakeholder reports, and refine interventions. Coordinates vendors, communications, volunteers, timelines, databases, and operational priorities across central office and school teams.

Oversee student enrollment, registration, attendance, transportation, health compliance, and student information management. Analyze school data, coordinate truancy prevention, support family communications and school culture, train staff on student information systems, assist with assessments, safeguard sensitive records, and serve as the first point of contact for basic technology issues. The role also supports welcoming new families and maintaining efficient, compliant school operations.
