Assists the Second Engineer with maintaining, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, power-generation, and marine equipment aboard an offshore drilling vessel. Supports maintenance planning, regulatory compliance, equipment certification, inventory control, safety procedures, emergency response, audits, and classification surveys. Supervises and mentors the Motor Operator and helps train maintenance personnel while ensuring all work complies with company operational discipline and HSE requirements.

Performs deck and cargo handling, maintenance, painting, and safety duties aboard offshore rigs. Supports lifesaving, firefighting, watertight integrity, and helicopter and mooring operations. Follows HSE and operational discipline, participates in drills, and assists with rig moves and inspections.

Perform manual deck and cargo handling duties offshore including housekeeping, surface preparation and painting, basic preventative maintenance, rustproofing, lifting and rigging support, and assisting drill floor operations. Follow safety procedures, participate in drills and trainings, inspect and store rigging equipment, and communicate with crew to execute tasks under supervision while adhering to company HSE and operational discipline requirements.
