Own customer aerospace missions from initial scoping through flight campaigns and closeout. Translate objectives into mission requirements, schedules, flight plans, and operating procedures; coordinate engineering, safety, certification, payload, logistics, and flight operations teams; manage readiness reviews, risk, regulatory authorization, customer communications, post-flight reviews, and data delivery. Improve mission processes and convert first-of-a-kind work into repeatable capabilities.

Own and improve electrical systems engineering methods for spacecraft propulsion products. Develop scalable architectures, requirements, verification, documentation, configuration-control, and engineering-tool processes. Translate customer needs into system requirements and test procedures, collaborate with R&D teams, and support propulsion operations by investigating anomalies, assessing non-conformances, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions.

Lead and improve the company’s governance, risk and compliance framework across export controls, information security, privacy, AI governance, audits, regulatory obligations and customer assurance. Develop policies, controls, risk registers, monitoring and training programs; coordinate audits and corrective actions; interpret complex requirements; and advise cross-functional teams across multiple jurisdictions.

Lead Dawn Aerospace’s transition from prototype-focused R&D to scalable serial production of reusable spaceplanes. Develop production strategy, operating models, manufacturing processes, readiness criteria, planning and scheduling systems, documentation standards, and continuous improvement initiatives. Partner with engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and leadership to improve manufacturability, remove bottlenecks, strengthen supplier readiness, and establish repeatable, data-driven production systems supporting multiple spaceplanes annually.

Lead design, integration, testing, and lifecycle management of RF hardware for UHF through Ka-band. Manage in-house and third-party ground station operations, perform RF testing/EMI characterization, conduct link budget and interference analyses, and ensure spectrum compliance including ITU filings and regulatory coordination.

Lead Dawn Aerospace's commercial expansion in Germany: own contract value and pipeline, build government and prime relationships, translate technical capabilities into proposals, negotiate multi-stakeholder deals, establish strategic local operations, and feed regional market intelligence into global strategy.

Own and validate the end-to-end satellite communications chain including hardware, software, ground infrastructure, and external partners. Integrate, test, and operate RF systems, support spectrum/licensing inputs, run interference and end-to-end signal validation, and define operational procedures and tooling for mission operations.

Lead end-to-end systems engineering for one or more spaceplane vehicle functions: define requirements, architecture, interfaces, verification, safety (FHA/FTA/CCA), and reliability/qualification programmes; drive cross-disciplinary technical decisions, lead qualification and flight test activities, and mentor engineers to deliver certified, reliable integrated vehicle capabilities.
