Responds to safety and security incidents across library facilities, supports investigations, monitors security cameras, documents encounters, responds to emergencies, administers basic first aid, and assists with staff and contracted security officer training. The role also enforces conduct policies, uses trauma-informed de-escalation practices, coordinates medical responses, and travels between branch locations as needed.
