Own and improve a Windows desktop application used at live events. Maintain and refactor a mature VB.NET/C# WinForms codebase, debug production issues (large media files, intermittent connectivity), improve performance and reliability, design recovery and offline/online workflows, and document technical decisions while working closely with the CTO.

Validate, process, and organize dance photos and videos using custom software; perform QA on codecs and compression; provide remote technical support to in-field photographers via Slack, phone, and TeamViewer; manage data transfers and FTP uploads; monitor live streams and troubleshoot equipment or software issues to ensure timely delivery of high-quality media.

Validate, process, and QA dance video/photo media using custom software; manage uploads and data transfers; provide remote technical support to in-field photographers via Slack and TeamViewer; monitor live streams and ensure media meets codec/bitrate/compression specifications while maintaining database integrity and fast turnarounds.

Travel nationwide to capture and stream dance competitions: set up and operate video/audio/streaming equipment, perform daily checks, film and log performances, upload footage, handle data transfers, and follow event schedules. Must travel frequently and work long event days.
