Lead Cyclic Materials’ U.S. defense and government market strategy, securing federal contracts, grants, cooperative agreements, and strategic partnerships. Build relationships across the Department of Defense, federal agencies, Congress, defense primes, and industry organizations. Direct capture strategies, proposal teams, contract negotiations, compliance, and execution while representing the company at government and defense forums. Design and specify mechanical equipment for rare-earth recycling plants, including sizing calculations, materials selection, fabrication drawings, piping and plant layouts. Lead equipment procurement, vendor technical reviews, commissioning, maintenance planning, and continuous process improvement. Collaborate with laboratory, operations, contractors, and vendors; manage project deadlines; mentor junior engineers; and travel internationally approximately 25–50% of the time.

Lead North American manufacturing operations to commission and scale multiple recycling facilities from pilot to 24/7 commercial production. Oversee equipment procurement, installation, commissioning, safety and regulatory compliance across US and Canada. Implement OT systems (IoT, ERP, material tracking), apply Lean/Six Sigma to improve yields and efficiency, design circular feedstock and offtake strategies, build site leadership teams, and manage stakeholder and community relationships during facility ramp-up.

The R&D Manager will lead projects focused on evaluating and optimizing recycling processes, managing a team, and collaborating with engineers to improve methodologies.

Lead and deliver multidisciplinary R&D projects for rare-earth recycling, owning scope, schedule, budget, risks, stage-gates and stakeholder alignment. Provide hands-on solvent extraction and hydrometallurgy technical judgment, design test campaigns, support scale-up and pilot trials, and translate R&D outcomes into commercialization and plant-ready implementation plans while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Administer and improve Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central: configure/customize the ERP, support users across Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales and Operations, gather requirements, manage enhancements and integrations, deliver training and documentation, and support ERP implementation projects and cross-site deployments.

Lead scale-up and commercialization of hydrometallurgical processes from lab to pilot to commercial plants. Develop process understanding, models, mass/energy balances, design basis, and scale-up strategies. Travel up to 30% for trials and partner engagements.
