Develop and execute commercial growth strategies across Japan, South Korea, and other Asian markets. Build relationships with suppliers, customers, recyclers, manufacturers, government agencies, and industry associations. Secure feedstock supply and product offtake agreements, negotiate complex commercial contracts, manage strategic accounts, identify market opportunities, provide market intelligence, and support regional expansion. The role requires extensive travel, fluent English and Japanese, and strong experience in industrial B2B business development, procurement, or strategic sales.

Coordinates analytical laboratory operations and quality activities, including sample tracking, documentation, controlled records, training records, equipment calibration records, testing schedules, quality metrics, safety, and ISO/IEC 17025 compliance. Identifies and escalates quality, equipment, inventory, and operational issues while supporting audits, continuous improvement, and laboratory personnel onboarding.

Conducts sample preparation and analytical testing for commercial and R&D hydrometallurgical operations. Operates and maintains laboratory instruments, develops analytical procedures, manages records, performs data analysis, prepares technical reports, supports validation studies, and ensures safety and quality compliance. The role also assists with equipment calibration, troubleshooting, pilot-scale testing, and TDG shipment requirements, with potential day and night shift work.
