Lead month-end close activities, prepare and review complex journal entries and reconciliations, support revenue/cost allocations, coordinate audits, analyze financial results, coach Staff Accountants, improve accounting controls and systems, and support process improvements and special projects.

Lead new account implementations and process-improvement projects for the Rare Business Unit. Plan and manage project scope, timelines, budgets, requirements gathering, UAT, stakeholder communication, performance measurement, and post-launch evaluation. Coordinate cross-functional teams (Operations, IT, Client Services), mentor junior staff, and recommend operational improvements to ensure timely, quality project delivery.

Supervise and coordinate a Prior Authorization Specialist team to ensure timely, accurate processing of prior authorizations, benefit investigations, appeals, provider/payer communications, queue management, reporting, and serve as departmental subject-matter expert.
