Lead and manage day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, AP/AR, inventory, cash management, month- and year-end close, external audit coordination, financial reporting, tax filings, billing, collections, internal controls, and team coaching to improve processes and support budgeting and planning.

Monitor transaction and employee account activity for multiple credit unions, complete scheduled reviews, investigate unusual activity (including wires, dormant accounts, reversals), document findings, and escalate concerns to credit union leadership.

Manage and maintain IBM Power I (AS/400/iSeries) systems for internal operations and clients, ensuring high availability, disaster recovery, backups, replication, firmware/software maintenance, network/security administration, incident response, documentation, CL programming, query/reporting, and client communication. Perform new installs, HA rollover exercises, and collaborate with teams and vendors.

Provide expert back-office accounting support and consulting to credit unions, lead new-client conversions, troubleshoot complex balancing and reporting issues, train staff, maintain process documentation, collaborate with conversion teams, handle end-of-month and accrual processes, and travel occasionally for client engagements.
