Supports corporate risk management, insurance programs, and claims administration for global maritime operations. Responsibilities include business continuity planning, enterprise risk reviews, insurance renewals, claims monitoring, budgeting, forecasting, loss-trend analysis, and reporting to senior leadership and the Board. The role collaborates with insurers, brokers, surveyors, and internal technical, finance, legal, and commercial teams. It also supports emergency response and special risk projects.

Maintains the structural integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational suitability of CSL’s vessel fleet. Responsibilities include conducting structural inspections and condition assessments, reviewing steel wastage and NDT results, developing repair and corrosion-control specifications, monitoring vessel condition trends, coordinating surveys and inspections, and aligning repair scopes with classification societies and technical stakeholders. The role also requires project planning, budgeting, contractor management, technical recordkeeping, and use of engineering design tools.

Leads business process discovery, mapping, documentation, analysis, and improvement across the organization. Facilitates stakeholder workshops, identifies opportunities to simplify and standardize operations, and recommends digital, automation, and AI solutions. Designs future-state processes aligned with strategic needs while maintaining process documentation and operating procedures. Requires strong facilitation, communication, stakeholder management, and business process improvement expertise.

Own and administer CSL’s enterprise AI platforms, including Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio. Advise business leaders, project teams, and analysts on AI capabilities, limitations, and implementation options. Assess business challenges, determine appropriate AI or process solutions, and support the identification, evaluation, prioritization, and development of AI use cases. Serve as the primary subject matter expert for enterprise AI tools and capabilities.

Lead change management for AI transformation initiatives by developing adoption, readiness, engagement, awareness, and education programs. Partner with leaders to identify adoption barriers, monitor metrics, recommend interventions, and implement change strategies for medium- to large-scale projects. Conduct stakeholder analysis, organizational impact assessments, and change readiness evaluations while facilitating consultations and training across employee groups.

Manage crewing operations for shipboard personnel, including crew coordinator supervision, vessel staffing, crew change and rotation planning, officer and seafarer recruitment, training compliance, and personnel record maintenance. The role requires maritime industry knowledge, experience working in a unionized environment, strong organizational and planning skills, team motivation, adaptability, and effective interpersonal and customer service abilities.

Permanent full-time marine technical roles responsible for electrical and engineering work within CSL Australia's coastal shipping operations. Available positions include Electric Technical Officer and Engineer Technician, with FIFO 6/6 schedules across Australian locations. Candidates must meet AMSA Marine Order 72 Electro-Technical Officer requirements, hold an unlimited Electro-Technical Officer Certificate of Competency or Recognition, obtain an MSIC, and have Australian citizenship or unrestricted Australian work rights. STCW safety training, working-at-heights, and confined-space certifications are desirable.
