Develops industrial automation sales by building customer relationships, meeting sales goals, identifying new opportunities, maintaining CRM pipelines, and delivering robotic, motion control, automation, and pneumatic solutions. Partners with application engineers, customer service, business development, manufacturers, and marketing. Requires technical product expertise, outside sales experience, customer problem-solving, competitive knowledge, and travel to industrial manufacturing sites.

Develops new product and service sales within an assigned territory, focusing on heavy-capacity scales and precision measurement instruments. Visits customers and prospects, identifies measurement needs, prepares quotes and presentations, communicates technical capabilities, trains customers, and converts leads into accounts. Maintains territory plans, quote logs, commission reports, and competitive intelligence while collaborating with sales and service teams. Requires strong communication, quantitative, analytical, organizational, and customer-focused skills, plus the ability to travel extensively in industrial environments.

Develops 3D models, assemblies, fabricated parts, electrical and mechanical schematics, control panel layouts, bills of materials, and production documentation. Collaborates with assembly and fabrication teams to ensure designs are practical for manufacturing, maintains legacy drawings, specifies materials and devices, and resolves design issues during builds. The role requires industrial drafting experience, proficiency with Autodesk design tools, strong technical communication, and occasional plant-site work.
