Own and grow railway accounts in Spain, develop new business across Iberia, and manage opportunities from prospecting through contract negotiation. Build strategic partnerships with rolling stock, signalling, and engineering companies; attend industry events; create market propositions, proposals, and RFP responses; and present software, AI, cybersecurity, systems, and safety capabilities. Collaborate with engineering and product teams to develop client-specific solutions.

Design and develop rugged hardware and PCB solutions for industrial and heavy-duty connected devices. Integrate microcontrollers, embedded systems, CANBus, SAE J1939, wireless technologies, and device-to-cloud architectures. Create prototypes, specifications, DFMEA documentation, validation plans, and technical documentation while optimizing designs for manufacturing and system integration. Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, thermal, and optical engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.

Own the vision, roadmap, business case, pricing, P&L, and go-to-market strategy for new software-defined rail products. Identify market opportunities, translate customer needs into requirements, and guide solutions from concept to first paying customers. Coordinate engineering, safety, certification, commercial, and business development teams while balancing certification milestones and customer commitments in a regulated, safety-critical environment.

Provides technical leadership and client-facing expertise in safety-critical engineering for aerospace, space, and defense programs. Acts as a trusted technical authority, diagnoses engineering and process challenges, mentors project teams, supports proposals and bids, shapes client solutions, and helps grow the German market. Requires deep safety-critical software or systems engineering experience, strong consultative communication, fluency in German and English, Germany-based residency, and willingness to travel.
