Executive leader responsible for CMG Colorado’s strategy, operations, P&L, growth, government contracting, technical oversight, safety, security, compliance, and organizational leadership. The role drives defense contract capture and execution, oversees energetic materials and munitions RDT&E, manages hazard-rated automation and manufacturing capabilities, builds senior teams, and represents the company with government customers, regulators, partners, and industry organizations.

Establish and lead CMG’s AI and machine learning capability for advanced manufacturing. Build the enterprise data and AI foundation, develop secure models and analytical tools, improve safety, quality, throughput, and automation, and advance toward closed-loop optimization and agentic physical systems. Initially hands-on, the role will later recruit and lead a small multidisciplinary AI and data team while partnering with operations, production, engineering, scientists, executives, and external partners.

Leads day-to-day engineering execution for a continuous-flow HMX production program, supporting facility construction, equipment integration, process implementation, automation, commissioning, startup, documentation, safety compliance, and production readiness. The Senior Controller will bring outsourced accounting in-house, build a finance team, support manufacturing operations, and report financial and compliance results to the CEO.

Build and maintain operating models, budgets, forecasts, cash runway analyses, KPI dashboards, and government proposal pricing models. Analyze program economics, capital expenditures, capacity, and make-versus-buy decisions. Prepare board and investor reporting, support capital raises and diligence, and automate recurring analysis using ERP data. The role partners closely with the CEO and Senior Controller in an early-stage defense manufacturing environment.

Leads daily operations for an expanding rural Texas manufacturing campus across supply chain, site operations, safety, security, IT, and information security. Owns operational cadence, procurement, inventory, production scheduling, facilities, regulatory compliance, CMMC readiness, OT cybersecurity, vendor management, and team development. Builds scalable processes and teams while maintaining site readiness, safety, audit preparedness, and production support in a regulated defense-related environment.
